a new program for women only
ReGeSH
Reaching Greater Spiritual Heights
ReGeSH – an acronym for Reaching Greater Spiritual Heights – focuses on
how to cultivate a positive attitude, improve communication skills,
refine our character traits, and develop healthy ways of dealing with stress.
We are hosting a community-wide kickoff on
Tuesday, February 15th
at Young Israel Synagogue. North Miami Beach FL, at 8:15 pm.
Yehudis Karbal will be flying in from Chicago as our featured speaker.
She is the Director of the North American Chapter of EMETT (Emotional Maturity
Established through Torah), a widely respected therapist,
and sister of the world-renowned author Miriam Adahan.
Through the four step EMETT methodology and other techniques
we will become more aware of our habitual negative responses to stress, and
gain the inner resources to respond more effectively and creatively to life’s challenges.
This structured methodology serves to reduce anxiety, anger and discouragement.
Following the introductory evening, we will offer a series of 6 workshops in a safe supportive atmosphere. The workshops will examine
appropriate responses to stressful events in a positive and Torah-consistent manner; we will learn specific practices to achieve greater inner peace,
tolerance, compassion, optimism, and faith.
The workshops, held on Mondays at 8:15 pm and Thursdays at 11 am, will be led by:
Frumma Rosenberg-Gottlieb
Certified Life and Relationships Coach, trained EMETT leader of 30 years, and former principal of Samuel Scheck Hillel Community Day School, and
Batsheva Marlowe
Licensed Master Social Worker, member of
Nefesh International, teacher at Bais Yaakov, and counselor at Toras Emes NMB
The subsidized charge for the workshops is $60.
Additional scholarships are available.
Group size is limited. For further information email: frumma@soulsculptors.com
